You would expect country stars Garth Brooks, Dierks Bentley, Alan Jackson and Josh Turner to be on hand for George Jones' final concert November 22 in Nashville, but who would ever think 80s hitmaker Cyndi Lauper would show up? She's the latest big name added to the star-studded bill along with "American Pie" singer Don McLean and Billy Ray Cyrus.
George explains, "Now, people may not know this, but I have been a fan of Cyndi’s since I first saw her years ago at the Grammy awards. What a thrill it was to hear she will be part of this final celebration."
Randy Travis, Kid Rock, Kenny Rogers, Charlie Daniels, Joe Diffie, Patty Loveless and Montgomery Gentry are also performing with George Jones at the final concert.
